Carolann Garcia Scott Counseling Intern - Healing Pathways Collective
Carolann is a Counseling Intern at Healing Pathways Collective who is passionate about supporting individuals through their unique journeys toward healing, growth, and positive change. She believes every person has the capacity for growth and strives to create a compassionate, supportive environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered.
Carolann holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with an emphasis in Criminology and a minor in Psychology from Adams State University, which she earned in 2022. She went on to earn a Master of Science in Forensic Psychology from Arizona State University in 2024. During her graduate studies, she was inducted into Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, in recognition of her academic achievement and commitment to the field.
She is currently completing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in Substance Use Disorders. Upon completion, she plans to pursue licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC).
Carolann’s therapeutic approach is grounded in trauma-centered and person-centered care, with influences from Gestalt and Existential Therapy. She strives to meet clients where they are, honoring their individual experiences, perspectives, and goals. Through a collaborative and compassionate approach, Carolann supports clients in developing greater self-awareness, exploring meaningful change, and building toward a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.
She believes that healing does not look the same for everyone and that creating a safe, supportive therapeutic relationship can be an important first step in the process.
