Gloria is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate with a strong passion for walking alongside clients on their journey toward healing and growth. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Christian Caregiving and Counseling from Oral Roberts University and completed her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health at Denver Seminary in 2024.
She has experience working in private practice with children, teens, couples, and adults, and while her clinical focus is working with children and adolescents, she welcomes individuals of all ages who are seeking support and guidance through life’s challenges.
Gloria believes that the struggles we face today often have roots in earlier life experiences—including unresolved pain from childhood or past trauma. Her goal is to create a warm, empathetic, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their story, build resilience, and move forward with confidence. She approaches therapy with compassion and curiosity, collaborating closely with each client to set goals, process difficulties, and identify meaningful steps toward healing.
Her style is trauma-informed and client-centered, drawing on evidence-based methods to meet each client’s unique needs. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) in her work. She is also a Prepare and Enrich certified facilitator and enjoys working with couples seeking to strengthen their connection or navigate marital challenges.
In addition to her general practice, Gloria has a heart for clients navigating a wide range of issues including trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, parenting stress, and life transitions. She also has experience supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD, autism, and developmental disorders, and is passionate about creating inclusive, affirming spaces for children and families.
