Suzi is a counseling intern who is deeply committed to creating a supportive and non-judgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered. With a warm, person-centered approach, Suzi believes that healing happens within a relationship rooted in empathy, authenticity, and mutual respect.

Currently completing a Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bellevue University, Suzi brings a rich and diverse background to the therapy room. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, French, and Biology from Cornell College and have served communities around the world—including as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Rwanda and through social services work in Brooklyn, NY.

Grounded in the humanistic principles of Carl Rogers, Suzi's approach centers on the belief that each client is the expert of their own life. They work collaboratively with individuals, couples, and families, providing a safe space to explore thoughts, emotions, and experiences at one’s own pace. Through active listening, reflection, and unconditional positive regard, they help clients build insight, self-awareness, and confidence.

Suzi supports clients through a wide range of concerns including anxiety, trauma, life transitions, grief, self-esteem, and relationship challenges. Their integrative style incorporates elements of Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and other evidence-based approaches to meet each client’s unique needs and goals.

Whether someone is navigating a period of change, healing from past wounds, or simply seeking greater clarity and connection, Suzi feels honored to walk alongside them on their journey.
